For horses that are already broke to ride and currently riding, but need polishing.
Preparing horses for a life of success begins early. Halter breaking, handling, desensitizing, and ground work prepare weanlings and yearlings for a calm, relaxed, and successful first saddling and ride as a two-year old. Prior to saddling and riding, colts learn all of the basics and more:
Once your colt is riding, they learn the basics needed to be sent off for specialized training.
Restarting is for horses that have had years off from riding, or have an unknown riding history. These horses are restarted from the ground up with a similar training program as the colt starting package.
An evaluation prior to the start of training is required. All training packages progress at the horse's individual pace and are structured to each horse's specific needs, while keeping a realistic expectation for what your colt will know and be exposed to by the end of the term. A minimum of 30 days is required, but 90 days is recommended.
